Down the Line was a co-production with Nostos Collectives Dance.

Through grief and anxiety, we have the ability to get lost in our thoughts and forget that we are connected to a larger community. Down the Line studies that even though we may lose sight of our connections to these communities, they always exist, pulling us back to reality and a safe state of mind. There is a strong female energy in the work, focusing on the bonds that hold us together and teach us that there are some lessons we learn in our time and some lessons that we will never be prepared for.  — Anastasia Wiebe

Pulse

Season: 2024, 2026
Music: Straight by Olaf Bender

Pulse explores tension between connection and resistance, with half the dancers reaching toward one another while the others pull away. Fast-paced and physically demanding, the piece challenges the dancers to stay fully present and responsive to each other and the music.

Suite for Harp

Season: 2026
Music: Movement I, II & III from Suite for Harp by Bryce Dessner and Koyaanisqatsi by Philip Glass

Suite for Harp is a four-movement work that explores the harp’s musicality and texture through movement. The first movement is fast-paced, shifting between individual expression and collective energy. The second brings the full company together in a slower, more grounded exploration of the harp’s deeper tones. The third is fluid and articulate, highlighting the solo dancer’s strength and musicality. The final movement features the upper half of the company and experiments with repetition, variation, and timing. The first and fourth movements were created collaboratively with dancers.
